The First of Many Polka Dot Outfits this Summer

I recently have taken a break from blogging, as you may have noticed. Between my job getting hit by a car and finishing up the semester, I have not been feeling like a fashion blogger lately. I actually have noticed, with my year and a half of blogging, that I really struggle with blogging. Keeping up with it, generally. But also blogging is always about showing the world your best side. Before I blogged, I would dress up all time. I was an outfit repeater no biggie. But with blogging, you want your best outfits. You have to plan outfits around when you can take pictures. Blogging committed-ly is something that I will always admire others for. But it is not for me. I am first and foremost a historian. I am fashionable, that does not make me a fashion blogger. I love dressing up and will continue to share my outfits here. But I am going to stop trying to make a goal of blogging once a week and failing miserably. I am not a fashion blogging who will not have lipstick on her teeth in every single shot, despite never having it on her teeth in real life. My hang ties on dresses show.

Current Faves

So in the mean time between blog posts I have decided to post my current favorite things. Clothes, Books, and everything I am obsessed with this week.

I Believe in Red

It's is still February! I love February! Valentines Day! President's Day! And Super Museum Sunday- which is something Savannah does where all Museums are free, aka the best day ever. It is just such a happy month. And it was beautiful outside so I had to put on my tulle skirt and heels.

Everything was Red- Valentines Guide

Okay so Valentines Day is coming soon! I love all holidays, so each time I always say it is my favorite holiday. So Valentines Day is my favorite holiday! I mean you wear red and pink with flowers and celebrate love and being happy, you cannot hate it!
So in case you have fancy plans I have created this guide of cute fancy dresses or even fun casual clothes with hearts on it.

Trying out this whole pants thing...

I am always taking very long breaks from blogging for whatever reason. This past month I actually started working two jobs and still in school and then gained 10 lbs because my job is next to KFC. Apparently KFC on the reg makes you gain weight, I am completely shocked. So just haven't  been feeling cute enough to blog/ too busy to blog. Which is where the pants come in.

Oversized Sweaters All the Time

I went to the mall today to do some Christmas shopping for just myself. And I went into H&M with this outfit that is fully from H&M. I got this particular turtleneck
sweater from their black Friday sale. And they still have some available in the grey that I have in the picture. It is really comfy and warm. What I have been doing this winter is wearing over sized sweaters with small jersey skirts, so it evens it out. Usually I wear knit tights or thigh high to keep warm but I forgot to pack them so oh well!

Fall with Corgi Purses

I posted this picture a while back on my personal insta. I was planning to eventually do a shoot with this purse but living alone and working makes blogging difficult. I got asked a lot were I got this purse from so here is the official post, with a mirror picture taken in an H&M dressing room.
